A subterranean river flows through Stopica Cave, an enormous limestone cavern hidden in the slopes of Mount Zlatibor. Follow the well-lit path through the cave to discover shimmering pools and cascading waterfalls. Nearby Gostilje Waterfall is another popular attraction, with the falls tumbling 20 metres down a moss-covered cliff and splitting into a series of individual cascades. Explore the scenic trails around the waterfall and enjoy a picnic at the water’s edge.

Winter snowfall transforms Tornik Ski Centre into one of the top family-friendly snow sports destinations in Serbia. More than seven kilometres of groomed trails wind down Zlatibor Mountain and treat you to fantastic views over the surrounding peaks.

The scenic Sargan Eight Railway winds through the mountains and connects the villages of Sargan Vitasi and Mokra Gora. During the three-hour journey, you’ll pass by charming alpine villages and thick pine forests. You can also stop at a handful of lookouts where you can snap photographs and take in the spectacular views.

Getting around Zlatibor
