The grounds and pools of the hotel were exceptionally great, room continuously clean and well cared for, with bounty of sun beds. The room was idealize. The buffet breakfast is exceptionally top notch with extraordinary fresh fruits, a noodle bar, omelet station, bread and cheese, and a few Thai curries. The service is exceptional. Directly opposite to the shoreline with life guards on duty. One feels greatly secure due to the huge number of security guards around the place. Market style shops directly outside grounds and dozens of eating places.
The resort is spotless and rooms spacious, in particular I would recommend the villas. The resort is also very safe yet only being 10 minutes taxi from Patong. The staff are wonderful people who will go out of their way to help make your stay everything you could hope for. They are friendly and very attentive to your needs. The hotel is in a very good area, very close to the beach and many restaurants and local spa's. Affordable and good quality. The staff gives you a buggy ride to the beach side exit/entrance. So if you do not wish to walk you request a ride and they will be there. The Pool is big enough and i don't think one has to really bother about a crowded pool. Rooms are not bad, but like many others mentioned, you must know this is an old property, and its not perfect.
The hotel is located in a very ideal location, once you cross the road, you will be the beach ( just a few meters from their residence apartments/villas. it had several swimming pools based on the room you are residing although it seems that the main pool close to the lobby was excellent as it also had a slide into the pool. the staff were amazing and friendly throughout our stay. from the porters who dropped us to our rooms with their electric Tuk Tuk ( baggy) , reception staff called Malee who was the best. she helped us also to have a late check out and also recommended us to upgrade to a sea view residence apartments for additional fee. for breakfast, the selection was good and we had the staff (Etek) who prepared fresh crepe ,pancakes etc. also the servers were all great just to mention a few Noom, Smile, Poppy , Tisha (supervisor) , Wat or Wak etc
