LikedEverything from check in to check out. Rooms were incredible.

DislikedAbit confusing getting to our room. Security at the entrance of the casino were rude and wouldn't let some members of our party to enter considering we there were almost 50 in our party that stayed at your hotel

Liked•Location •The staycation package included (free parking and breakfast daily, $50 credit daily spent on selected restaurants, late check out) •When requesting for extra blankets and pillows, they were quite quick •Check out was quick and easy

DislikedNoted in special request that we were celebrating our 9 year wedding anniversary and for the first time ever staying at a hotel for all our anniversary’s we didn’t have anything left in our room upon arrival or for the entire stay. Pretty disappointing as we’ve stayed at even cheaper hotels with less stars and they made more effort. I’ve stayed at their newer property The Darling and they are miles ahead with every aspect compared to the Grand Residences. Worth the extra money. With the $50 daily food/drink credit we were given a list of only a few selected restaurants you could eat at during the stay. We ate at the Flying fish and chips not knowing there is another place called Flying Fish, (which they didn’t mention upon check in AND only found out at checkout was actually closed and under renovations), so we ended up having to pay for that meal. Also no luggage rack. Some of the reception staff a bit clueless as we called to ask what time the pool opened and closed and she was clearly trying to guess it as the times kept changing and she gave us the wrong time for the first night we called. The pool says it’s heated but it was quite cold. When we stayed at the Darling and had access to the Grand Residences pool during the colder months the pool was a lot warmer than it was during this times stay so not sure why it was so much colder this time around and wondered if they could control the temp from their end.

LikedThe room was clean and spacious. We had a good view of the harbour and pool. The staff was very nice and friendly. Service was great.

DislikedNot much to do there for the kids except swimming. Restaurants are closed on Monday so not many places to eat for family with young kids.
