we had booked a very early morning trip and as it was prior to the commencement of breakfast (which was included in our booking) we requested the day before a breakfast to go. When I went to the reception to collect the breakfast to go, the staff appear to have forgotten and after approximately ten minutes a bag was delivered. I opened the bag during our trip and was shocked to find one half of a rather stale, day old sandwich, one banana, one apple and two small juice. This was breakfast for two people! The sandwich was thrown in the bin as inedible. On my return to the hotel I was referred to the restaurant/catering manager who said he was sorry but that the breakfast was complimentary but I explained that we had paid for the breakfast with our booking. We were expecting an apology or at least some sort of refund or drinks/meal voucher but received neither.
