The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Gare Du Nord which has a direct airport connection. It is close to the canal Saint Martin which has a lot of good , informal , multi-national restaurants and is worth exploring. The quality of breakfast food was good . The room was compact but well designed to maximise the space available. Our room was at the front of the building facing the Gare de L`Est. Unfortunately , there was a lot of noise from vehicles and rowdy people in the small hours of the morning---the only real downside of our stay. If a room to the back of the building can be guaranteed , we will be happy to stay here again.
