This hotel is supposed to be rated 5 stars 'deluxe', but it's certainly not the case at all, barely 4! It's actually over 50 years old and architecture looks like a medieval castle, but with modern pools and nice landscaping. So weird! Corridors carpet is dirty in all floors. Although rooms are somehow renovated, style is old fashion, and AC system is obsolete. We couldn't sleep at night because room temperature was above 26 degrees C! We complained about that, maintenance tried to fix the AC, but it didn't work and was very noisy. WiFi in our room didn't properly work, and we also complained but they didn't do anything about it! Curtains didn't have black-out, so we were waking up at 6 AM due to direct sunrise. Room cleaning was done within 5 minutes, and we could clearly see that the bathroom wasn't cleaned, with traces of dirt remaining from the day before! Food buffet was not bad, although it lacked basic seafood dishes, like shrimps, octopus, calamaris etc... Ice cream was available only from 3 to 4 PM everyday. We paid over $325 per night in this hotel when we booked it 5 days prior to check in date, but price fell over 40% within 2 days! When we asked for an upgrade, they replied that hotel was fully booked. But Icmeler is a beautiful beach-town with amazing nature, scenery and clean beach, so we ended up enjoying our stay for that reason only, but not in this hotel.
