    car parking

This hotel has SMART PARKING. This means even if you pay the over night parking fee because you are staying there, you will still get a parking ticket if you leave the car park. As this becomes another stay. So do not leave the car park unless you are leaving and checking out of the hotel. Or just avoid useing the hotel car park at all, as I have been told it does not belong to the hotel any more. I as long term customer (I have family in the area) of this hotel I was supprised by this information.

Convenient for a meeting but lousy for everything else, parking particularly...

Overall, about my worst hotel experience ever.

Two day stop, overpaid holiday at hotel that looks like it is from the Dark Ages

The Things i did not like is staying at a tired, dirty, Shabby so called 3 star hotel in Blackpool and the photos shown on all the hotel booking sites show this hotel is it was in 1997 the last time it saw any paint or refurbishment of any kind. It has multiple pot holes in its car park requiring filling in, the outside had paint and large chunks of plaster coming off its walls, therefore the hotel has subsistence issues with cracking inside and outside the hotel. Rude reception staff, dirty carpets throughout the hotel and in the rooms , dirty walls.litter in the corridors. Rooms with dirty windows inside and outside, broken furniture, dirty wallpaper, cracks on walls, paint hanging off the ceilings, cleaners that never cleaned properly, clean sheets and towels being put down on dirty carpets, food ok but could use speciality coffee machines, fresh fruit, yoghurt and even pastries. Location was nearly 3 miles from the centre of Blackpool, car parking costs expensive, trams better though, this hotel needs a major refurbishment, an inspection to see if it is worth its three star rating it isnt and until they do wont be staying there again at the Norbreck Castle Prison Hotel in Blackpool.
