The resort was lovely and the stay was enjoyable, however when we arrived we were sent over to the 'lakeside' part of the complex. Our room was incredibly dull and basic overlooking a large green building....not what we had paid for. We complained and we were moved back over to main hotel which was fine. The staff were friendly and polite, the food at the resort was also lovely. The only other issue we found was the vermin problem the resort has. As we were sitting outside having lunch a rat ran across the floor and this was followed by another one a few minutes later. The staff did apologise for this and we were given a complimentary coffee. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Sohka Beach resort however the vermin problem would discourage a return.
