Cidade Industrial de Curitiba is a neighbourhood in Curitiba’s western edge of town. With plenty of green spaces and a laid-back atmosphere, Cidade Industrial de Curitiba is a great place to relax and unwind.
Take a stroll through the massive Passauna Park, where pristine fields and elevated gazebos overlook a serpentine lake that stretches along the neighbourhood. You can rent a sailboat or kayak, swim at a sandy beach or catch fish on the main pier.
Continue south to Tropeiros Park, where an open-air theatre provides re-enactments of 18th and 19th-century cowboy techniques. You can also interact with horses, cycle along wilderness trails or sip fresh sugarcane juice under a shady tree.
Getting there
Cidade Industrial de Curitiba is easy to find, as it dominates the western border of Curitiba and contains the majority of the city’s factories and warehouses. It’s a short bus ride from the city centre.
