Staff were terrific and accommodating. Standard room was clean and appropriate although not in the same building as reception. I should have noticed this as it was mentioned. Pool was good and breakfast had a reasonable selection. Good value for money although Patong itself was smelly, over crowded and not a place I would ever entertain visiting again. Thanks team at Aspery.
I wasn't aware that standard rooms did not have a lift. As I have a knee problem I was alarmed that I had been allocated a room on the 4th floor of a building with no lift. The room was not too good and after 3 days my knee was killing me. But when after 4 days I was allocated a better room in a room with a lift my experience generally was much better. Nice pool but a bit run down with toilet seat on one hinge, too few lounges and the shower knob broken. The restaurant was good, the hotel was close to the beach and the staff were very helpful.
