About Awaji

It features miniature reproductions of famous landmarks from around the world, such as the Taj Mahal and St. Basil’s Cathedral. If you drive in the other direction from Amaji, you’ll arrive at the Awaji Yumebutai, which was designed by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando as a memorial to the Great Hanshin earthquake of 1995. It includes a conference centre and the Hyakudanen, a stepped garden with 100 flower beds terraced down a sloping hill.
