Travel south to nearby Perak and venture into five hectares of tropical limestone caverns surrounded by ornate Buddhist temples. The hollowed bases of these lush, overgrown rocks are recognised around the world and offer a truly unique backdrop. Ke kLok Temple’s massive cave is filled with detailed sculptures of Buddhist deities, while Sam Poh Tong’s turtle pond is a peaceful place to unwind.

Cold mountain air and crystal-clear tropical water make Chepor Stream a favourite outdoor excursion. Drive to the trail entrance or walk the kilometre-long road and stop at a variety of outdoor stalls selling food and trinkets.
