For a retail fix, head to the nearby Northtown Mall, which is packed with big-name international retailers and fast-food eateries. You can pick up a bargain at the Ragstock Outlet or browse the shoes at Champs Sports before refuelling at Charleys Cheesesteaks or the Lucky Wok. In the heart of the mall is an indoor amusement arcade that kids will love.

Fishing families can visit Moore Lake to try their luck at luring in bluegill, largemouth bass and northern pike. The adjacent park features a large children’s playground, and basketball and volleyball courts, as well as a charming bridge from where you can spot turtles and frogs. Sweeping views across Moore Lake can be enjoyed from the Sand Dunes Natural History Area.
