Covering an area of 320,000 metres squared, Nordstan is the largest shopping centre in Gothenburg and one of the most prominent malls in Sweden, offering a wealth of entertainment in one location. Nordstan was constructed in 1967 as part of a regeneration project of a neglected part of Gothenburg and was finished in 1972, as the largest city regeneration project in Sweden. It faced numerous expansions over the years, modernising and beautifying the shopping centre to its current standard.
