Pag Town is the largest settlement on the island and is criss-crossed with narrow streets lined with historic buildings. The town is brimming with low-key restaurants where you can enjoy grilled fish, slow-cooked lamb and wild asparagus.

Perched on the northern tip of the island, Novalja lures in partygoers with its raucous bars and nightclubs. Bask in the sunshine on Zrće Beach, stroll along the palm-lined promenade and dance the night away at open-air DJ festivals.

Beach hopping is one of the best ways to spend a day on Pag. On the eastern side of the island, Ručica Beach has an off-the-grid feel and is studded with enormous boulders. Perfect for families, Caska features shallow water and colourful beachside cafes.
