About Sesimbra

Sesimbra is a prominent fishing town located at the mouth of the Sado River in the Setúbal District of Portugal 40 kilometres due south of Lisbon. The city’s geographically beneficial situation on the Setúbal Bay nestled at the base of the Serra de Arrábida hills provides for combined economic and tourism sustainability. Sesimbra is referred to as one of Portugal’s most popular beach towns with its endless white sands and prominent natural characteristics.

The heart of Sesimbra is based in Arrábida National Park with its soft sand beaches, forested hills, and looming cliffs.
