Chateau de Cheverny is an enchanting French castle set in the picturesque Loire Valley. The de Vibraye family has lived in the chateau since the early 1600s and has done a fantastic job of preserving its grandeur.

In the armoury, you’ll find a gleaming collection of swords, suits of armour and crossbows. Other rooms have been reimagined as galleries showcasing the family’s fine art collection.
After touring the chateau, enjoy a cup of signature hot chocolate in the tearoom. It’s housed in the 18th-century orangerie where the Mona Lisa and other masterpieces were hidden during World War II. Kids will love exploring the flower-filled gardens and getting lost in the Labyrinthe maze. Don’t miss the kennels, where you can get up close with dozens of hunting dogs.

Chateau de Cheverny is located in the village of Cheverny, a 20-minute drive from Blois. Parking is available on site and Tours Val de Loire Airport is a one-hour drive away. Paris-Charles De Gaulle Airport is a 2.5-hour drive north.
