About Bedford, TX

Inspired by the events that took place at a Dallas residence, the Moxley Manor Haunted House is one of Bedford’s most popular attractions. Once you step inside, you’ll encounter spooky animatronics and creepily costumed actors depicting everything from zombies to evil clowns. Also within the complex are two additional attractions known as Reagan’s Revenge and Big Top Terror.

A range of recreational facilities can be found at Generations Park at Boys Ranch, a 27-hectare complex that includes baseball fields, a double-court gymnasium and fitness equipment. In addition to the outdoor water park with its splash pad, water slides and lazy river, there is an indoor pool with a hot tub. On the shores of Bedford Boys Ranch Lake is a children’s playground.

North-east of Bedford are the Linear Trails, a network of walking and biking trails along the Oncor easement. The trails extend from Woodpark Lane to Forest Ridge Drive, with easy access also available from the Meadow Park Athletic Complex. Adjacent to Meadow Park is a small shopping complex with eateries where you can grab a bite to eat, including Cici’s Pizza and the Macarena Taco Shop.
