About Val Thorens Ski Resort

Forming part of Les Trois Vallees, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort village in Europe. It lies at an altitude of 2,300 metres in the French Alps, with its skiable terrain centred around the soaring peaks of Point du Bouchet and Cime de Caron.

Take advantage of Val Thorens’ high-tech and wind-tolerant lifts to access its 70 marked runs, which cater to skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. There’s plenty of spectacular backcountry terrain to explore, as well as a flying fox and a long toboggan slope.

In addition to its snow pursuits, Val Thorens is renowned for its lively apres ski scene, with restaurants and bars clustered in the village centre.
