Travelling with the kids? Take a trip to the Eucumbene Trout Farm to see Highland cattle and alpacas. Drop your line in at the privately stocked Stony Lake, take a fly fishing lesson and enjoy a fish dinner or an alpaca burger at the Eucumbene Farm cafe.

Journey to Kosciuszko National Park for an unforgettable experience in the Snowy Mountains. During summertime you can hike, mountain bike, climb or embark on a guided white-water expedition, while in winter the area serves as a popular skiing destination. The truly adventurous can climb to the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, the highest point in Australia standing at over 2,200 metres.

If you want to unwind with a drink in hand, visit the Snowy Vineyard and Microbrewery, situated on the banks of the Snowy River. Taste a wide variety of craft beers or sip a vintage wine on the patio while the kids enjoy the trampoline and petting zoo.

Getting around

The nearest airport is Snowy Mountains Airport, located about 15 minutes’ drive from Berridale. Cooma is the closest town, about 30 minutes’ drive away. The easiest way to get around is by car.
