About Queenscliff Maritime Museum

Inspired by the blues musicians who used to perform on Mississippi’s freight trains, Blues Train is a unique dinner and show experience in Queenscliff. It departs from the historic Queenscliff Station and travels along the Bellarine Railway, with three stops where passengers can change carriages and listen to a variety of bands.

Begin with a delicious buffet dinner at the Queenscliff Station, which includes barbecued Angus beef and baked mustard chicken, as well as side items, such as vegetables and salads. Grab a drink from T-Bar inside the guard’s van at the back of the heritage train, then step aboard to begin the journey as the whistle blows.

Four 30-minute musical performances are held throughout the evening, with an opportunity to change carriages and grab more drinks at each stop. In addition to the intimate duets and solo performances, there’s a band playing in Carriage D with a dance floor where you can let loose.

Getting there

The Blues Train departs from Queenscliff, which is around 40 minutes’ drive from Geelong or can be accessed by the number 56 bus. Melbourne Airport is just over 1.5 hours away.
