As well as Olympic-sized aquatic and athletic centres, the sprawling 430-hectare park now features modern apartments, office buildings and entertainment districts like the Abattoir Heritage Precinct. Over the decades, Homebush Bay has earned a reputation as a shipwreck graveyard.
