About Pasir Ris

Pasir Ris is one of Singapore’s eastern districts and is popular for its theme parks, waterfront parklands and shopping malls. Along with mosques and Buddhist temples, Pasir Ris has a range of charming waterways and is one of the closest towns to Sentosa Island.

Things to do in Pasir Ris

Pasir Ris promotes outdoor fun in the leafy confines of the scenic Pasir Ris Park. This expansive parkland hugs Serangoon Harbour and features a range of recreation facilities, including bicycling, kayaking, birdwatching, children’s playgrounds and barbecues. Visit the various themed gardens, including Maze Garden and Kitchen Garden, to discover herbs and other plants for cooking.

Are you visiting with your family? Right next to Pasir Ris Park is the Wild Wild Wet theme park, which has fast-paced waterslides, a wave pool, lazy river and numerous Western and Asian eateries. Just around the corner is eXplorerkid, where your children can play on two indoor playgrounds, take music classes and enjoy interactive workshops.

If you need some retail therapy, head over to the White Sands shopping mall, where you’ll find over 120 stores covering everything from sporting goods and electronics to fashion and homewares. After you’ve finished shopping, grab a meal at Cookhouse by Koufu, which is known for its marine theme and authentic Singaporean dishes.

You’d be amiss not saving some time to visit Sentosa Island, about a 30-minute drive from Pasir Ris. Here you can ride the roller coasters at Universal Studios Singapore, tee off on the scenic Tanjong Golf Course and relax on beautiful beaches.
